We’re Hiring: AWS Cloud Operations – SME
Location: Rockville, MD (Onsite from Day 1)
Type: Contract Opportunity
We are looking for an AWS Cloud Operations SME to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, focusing on performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and optimize AWS cloud operations
Manage core AWS services: EKS, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, and others
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
Troubleshoot complex compute, network, and storage issues
Mentor team members and enforce cloud best practices
What We’re Looking For:
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and deep operational knowledge
Proficiency in automation, monitoring, and Infrastructure as Code
Leadership experience in task planning and team coordination
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
AWS certifications are preferred
Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or finance is a plus
